At the beginning I thought that most businesses in Toronto (unlike anther places like US and UK) are still not sold about SEO which makes it harder for Toronto SEO companies to grew. But after I met many SEO folks from US and UK I found that it is not just about Torontonian companies, actually most SEO companies around the word still find out that most businesses are not sold about SEO yet and here is some reasons those might be behind that:

  1. There is no guarantee to achieve a good position in SEO (at least honest company should clarify that for its potential client) which makes it hard for the decision maker in the company to approve a budget for SEO services.
  2.  In SEO and especially for young website the results or at least the good ranking may not come within a year, which makes many business go with another choice that take less time.
  3. Businesses owners cannot understand the SEO services, words like on page, off page, navigation etc don’t look in the eye of business owner have anything to do with ranking, even if you get him as a client later you will keep hearing thinks like why I am paying you?
  4. Most SEO services apply monthly fee that used most the time to keep site’s link building growth and monitor any changes in the SEO sphere and make sure that the site complies with it, but again business owners still don’t like that.

So it is not just SEO Toronto companies that face this issue, it is global wide, hence smart SEO companies need to gain the client trust and explain exaclty the need and the importancy of the on going SEO process.
